Email opt-out

Last updated: May 15, 2026

You can withdraw your consent to receive HubGuard emails at any time. This page explains how to unsubscribe, what stops, and what continues. It is consistent with our Privacy Policy and the email opt-in page.

How to unsubscribe

  • Use the unsubscribe link. Every non-essential HubGuard email includes an unsubscribe link in its footer. Clicking it stops that category of email.
  • Turn off email alerts in your dashboard. If you set up email as a notification channel, you can disable it (or any individual alert tier) in your HubGuard notification settings.
  • Email us. Send a message to [email protected] from the address you want unsubscribed, and we will remove it. For general help, [email protected] works too.

What stops

When you opt out, HubGuard stops sending you cap-threshold alerts, projection alerts, and waitlist updates by email.

One thing to know first

If email is your only alert channel, opting out means HubGuard can no longer warn you when your HubSpot portal approaches the 1,000-contact cap. You can still check your current count, trend, and projection any time from your dashboard — but you will not be notified proactively. If you want to keep alerts, consider adding another channel instead of opting out entirely.

What continues

Even after you opt out of alerts, we may still send essential account and service notices — for example, billing messages or a notice that we are materially changing the service or these terms. These are not marketing and are required to operate your account. There is no marketing email to opt out of, because HubGuard does not send marketing to your notification channels.

Deleting your data

Unsubscribing stops emails; it does not delete your account. If you want your data removed, disconnect your portal or cancel your account — your snapshots are deleted within 30 days and archive CSVs are removed after their 90-day window (or immediately on request). Full detail is in Retention and Deletion in the Privacy Policy.
